$500,000 Worth of Marijuana, Ecstasy Seized from Plainfield Home
Ecstasy pills, 92 cannabis plants seized during the search of a Plainfield home, which resulted in the arrest of a Romeoville man.
Plainfield police and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents seized more than $500,000 worth of marijuana and ecstasy during a search of a Plainfield home Tuesday, police said in a press release. Quy Doan, 30, of the 200 block of Zinnia, Romeoville, was arrested in connection to the grow operation and is being held at the Will County Adult Detention Center, police said. According to jail records, Doan was booked on five felony charges: manufacture/delivery of 50-200 grams of schedule I and II substances, producing 50-200 cannabis plants, manufacture/delivery of more than 500 grams of cannabis, possession of 2,000-5,000 grams of cannabis and possession of a controlled substance.
