Bolingbrook Drunk Driver Hits Snow Plow, Injures Public Works Employee: Police
A Plainfield Public Works employee suffered minor injuries after a Bolingbrook man charged with driving under the influence hit a snow plow.
A Plainfield Public Works employee suffered minor injuries when a drunken driver crashed into a snow plow Friday night, according to village staff. Director of Public Works Allen Persons said the snow plow driver was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated and released, following the late-night crash on Feb. 1. Eric Munson said the plow was headed east on 135th Street near Kerr Street at around 11:30 p.m. when the westbound Cadillac crossed the center line and struck it. The driver of the Cadillac, 35-year-old William Zielinski of the 300 block of Pinto Drive, Bolingbrook, did not appear to be injured, police said, but was taken to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital …
