Theft from Kohl's, Disorderly Conduct: Bolingbrook Police Blotter

Jan. 12 Disorderly conduct Nicholas Marquardt, 34, 1067 Bothwell Cir., was arrested at 4:14 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct on the 500 block of Remington Boulevard after refusing to leave the property, police said. Thief Steals $2,800 from Wal-Mart Cash Registers: Bolingbrook Police

Someone forced open several cash registers and stole $2,800 Dec. 27, according to Bolingbrook police.

Someone forced open several cash registers and stole $2,800 in cash from Wal-Mart, according to Bolingbrook police.  The theft took place at Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr., on Dec. 27.  A similar incident took place at Dunkin Donuts between Dec. 19 and 20. A bag of money was stolen from a locked register at Dunkin Donuts, 200 S. $2,100 in Goods Stolen from Bolingbrook Home: Police

A residential burglary was reported in the 200 block of Plymouth Lane between Dec. 20 and 26.

Someone forced open the front door of a Bolingbrook home and stole $2,100 worth of goods between Dec. 20 and 26, according to police.  A neighbor discovered the front door and alerted police. A PS3 game system, iPad, laptop and backpack were stolen from the residence.  The burglary took place in the 200 block of Plymouth Lane. No one has been charged and this incident remains under investigation.  READ MORE:  Four other residential burglaries took place between Dec. 18 and Dec. 23. Bolingbrook only puts in the paper what they want you to know about this town. Notice there are never reports of sexual assault, murder, etc. I know more is going on out here than DUI's and burlaries/store theft. They should print all the major crimes!! This is not Burr Ridge where crime rarely occurs. Newspapers need to quit veiling the real happenings in this town and report all!!!!!   more ›
