Someone forced open several cash registers and stole $2,800 in cash from Wal-Mart, according to Bolingbrook police. The theft took place at Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr., on Dec. 27. A similar incident took place at Dunkin Donuts between Dec. 19 and 20. A bag of money was stolen from a locked register at Dunkin Donuts, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr., police said. A residential burglary was reported in the 200 block of Plymouth Lane between Dec. 20 and 26.
Someone forced open the front door of a Bolingbrook home and stole $2,100 worth of goods between Dec. 20 and 26, according to police. A neighbor discovered the front door and alerted police. A PS3 game system, iPad, laptop and backpack were stolen from the residence. The burglary took place in the 200 block of Plymouth Lane.
