Bolingbrook Police Blotter: Battery, Car Damage, DUI

Dec. 1  Car window broken, cosmetology kit stolen from car  A car window was broken to gain access and a cosmetology kit was stolen from a car parked on the 600 block of Preston Drive between Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, police said. The loss and damage were valued at $1,000. Battery  Darnell Hardy, 49, 304 N. Janes Ave., was arrested at 6:36 p.m. and charged with battery after a call to the 200 block of N. Black Friday Thefts, Thanksgiving DUI's: Bolingbrook Police Blotter

Thanksgiving and Black Friday crime in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Nov. 22 to 23.

Nov. 23, Black Friday  Fight in the hallway of Springhill Suites  Gary Hill III, 22, 212 S. Highpoint Dr., Romeoville, was arrested at 12:27 a.m. and charged with battery, disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer, police said. Ivan Smith was arrested and charged with battery and resisting a peace officer following a call to the Springhill Suites, 125 Remington Blvd., for the call of a fight in the hallway.  Robbery  Officers were called to the 1000 block of S. Weber Road for the report of a robbery, police said. Laptop Thieves Hit Same Store Three Times in Two Hours

No one has been charged after two people stole multiple times from the same store Nov. 25, according to Bolingbrook police.

Two people stole five laptops in two hours from Wal-Mart Nov. 25, according to Bolingbrook police, and no one was charged in the incident.  The thefts occurred at 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr.  The unknown pair entered the store on three separate occasions. They placed laptops in a shopping cart, walked around the store, removed the packaging, concealed the laptops and left the store.  In doing so, they stole five laptops between 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. The loss was valued at $3,140.  No charges have been made in the incident.  - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -  There are plenty of ways to keep up on Bolingbrook news:

Police: Pair Leaves Bolingbrook Marshalls with Large Bags of Merchandise

Cosmetics stolen from Meijer, wallet and phone stolen from car and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Nov. 13-15.

Nov. 15  Theft from Marshalls  Officers were called to Marshalls, 1158 W. Boughton Rd., for the report of a retail theft, police said. Two subjects exited the store with large bags of merchandise without paying.  Theft from Meijer  Michelle Juarez, 18, 3 Liberty Ct., was arrested at 9:45 p.m. and charged with retail theft at Meijer, 755 E. Bolingbrook Police: Pair Steals $10,000 Worth of Eyeglasses

The theft took place at LensCrafters Nov. 15 in Bolingbrook.

A theft Nov. 15 at LensCrafters cost the store $10,000 worth of merchandise, according to Bolingbrook police.  Police said a pair stolen more than 40 pairs of glasses from a display and left the store at 5:35 p.m.  The LensCrafters is located at 641 E. Contributing to a criminal delinquency of a juvenile, domestic battery and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Oct. 13, 24-25.

Oct. 25  iPhone stolen from purse  An iPhone was stolen from a purse while the victim was shopping at Marshalls, 1158 W.
