Romeoville police say the incident may be gang-related but they do not know if the victims, one from Joliet and the other from Lockport, were targeted.
Two men were shot as they left Brunswick Zone XL in Romeoville Tuesday in an attack that's being investigated as possibly gang-connected, Romeoville Assistant Police Chief Steve Lucchesi said. The incident occurred at about 12:50 a.m. as the 735 N. Center Blvd. business, which is a combination bowling alley, laser tag, arcade and restaurant, was closing for the night, Lucchesi said. As many as 30 people were in the parking lot when a dark-colored, 4-door car pulled up and fired shots that struck an 18-year-old man fromJoliet and a 26-year-old man from Lockport before speeding away, he said.
