Raiders finish season with 11-10-1 overall regular season record.
The Bolingbrook High school boys soccer team hadn't won two consecutive games since Sept. 10 and unfortunately for the Raiders, couldn't buck the trend Tuesday in the team's opening IHSA state tournament game. The No. 14-ranked Raiders, who won their regular season finale Oct. 13 against Lincoln-Way East, lost 7-1 to No. 2 Batavia in the Aurora (Waubonsie Valley) regional semifinal. Bolingbrook ends its season with an even 11-11-1 overall record. The team won six of its first seven regular season games before faltering in its Southwest Suburban Conference schedule, where the Raiders compiled a 2-4 record. Batavia advances to play either Benet Academy or Waubonsie Valley in the Aurora (Waubonsie Valley) regional final on Saturday at 3 p.m.
