U.S. Postal Service Boosts Price of Stamps

U.S. Postal Service rate hikes will go into effect Jan. 27.

This brings the cost of a standard 20-stamp book up from $9 to $9.20.   Forever stamps, purchased for 45 cents before the price hike, are always good for mailing a one-ounce letter anytime in the future regardless of price changes, according to the U.S. Postal Service.    The cost for letters weighing more than one ounce will stay the same, at 20 cents for each additional ounce, …
