Girl Scouts from Bolingbrook and Romeoville rang in the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America with a celebration at The Promenade Bolingbrook. At 7:12 p.m. (19:12 in military time) Monday, the Girl Scouts joined an estimated three million current and former Scouts across the country for a "Promise Circle," in which they recited the Girl Scout Promise and Law and sang the song "Make New Friends." You tell us how you feel about it, what dishes are good, who has the best drink specials and so forth. This week's restaurant has been one of the village's finer establishments for some time now. Nestled in one of the most hopping areas of town, it serves up some of the best …

I spoke to the managers of the Promenade who I have been working with to organize this event. The meters are not optional and there is nothing on them that indicates this. Park on Patch is a marketing initiative for Patch in hopes to make life a little easier for our readers and those who will be shopping this Saturday.
