Valley View First Graders Will Receive Free Take-Home Books

It's no secret that children learn best from hands-on experience. And if the Valley View School District's Board of Education has anything to do with it, Valley View students will have plenty to get their hands on this year. The board voted unanimously this week to begin a program that will place books in the hands of all district first graders every night of the week—books catered to each students reading levels.
