An 18-year-old former Bolingbrook High School student has been arrested after Bolingbrook police said he displayed a handgun in a school stairwell Tuesday.

An 18-year-old former Bolingbrook High School student has been arrested after police said he displayed a gun in BHS Tuesday afternoon. Sign up for our free, daily e-newsletter.  Like Bolingbrook Patch on Facebook.  Tyron Hughes was arrested late Wednesday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon, aggravated  battery, obstructing/resisting and criminal trespass.   Police said Hughes entered Bolingbrook High School Tuesday afternoon at 2:11 p.m.  "The high school day ends at 2 p.m.," said Larry Randa, director of community relations for Valley View. "Between that time and when buses depart at roughly 2:10 p.m., up to 3,500 students are leaving the building through several different exits." School security and Bolingbrook police officers …
