Where to Get a Flu Shot in Bolingbrook

Cases of the flu are already rising above normal levels this year. The Will County Health Department is urging residents to get a flu shot during National Influenza Vaccination Week.

Flu season is hitting hard in some parts of the country and people – particularly those most at risk – are being cautioned to get a flu shot if they haven’t already.  December 2-8 is set aside as National Influenza Vaccination Week to highlight the importance of getting the flu vaccination. People who have the flu often feel some or all of these symptoms: According to the National Centers for Disease Control, it's not too late to get vaccinated, and an annual flu shot received now will protect you against flu viruses circulating through the holidays and into 2013, when influenza activity will peak.
