Prices were up, but home sales in Bolingbrook were slightly down from December 2012 to December 2011, real estate statistics show.
Single-family home sales were down in Bolingbrook during December from last year, but median home prices saw a big jump, according to the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors (MORe). Fifty-six detached, single-family homes were sold in December, slightly down from the 58 sold in Dec. 2011. But median home prices jumped from $134,000 in Dec. 2011 to $162,750 in Dec. 2012, an increase of 21.5%. Fifty-nine homes were sold in November, at a median price of $170,000.
