Following a verbal altercation in the Bolingbrook drive-thru lane, one person punched another several times in the face.

One person was injured following a verbal and physical altercation in the drive-thru lane of a Bolingbrook Wendy's at 12:15 p.m. Nov. 2, police said.  The offender was trying to back out of a parking space, according to police. The victim could not move his car because he was stuck waiting in the drive-thru between two cars. Words were exchanged and the offender struck the victim several times and then fled. The victim was treated on scene. Further medical attention was refused. The Wendy's is located at 396 S.
