Police responded to a Bolingbrook home on Halloween night following complaints of loud noise and traffic safety issues.
Hundreds of people flocked to Mike Semerau's Bolingbrook home on Halloween night. Semerau, dressed in a zombie costume, played on a drum set for an hour outside amidst Halloween inflatables and other decorations. Throngs of trick-or-treaters choked traffic for more than an hour along Plainview Drive and Lily Cache Lane. The crowded, noisy situation drew the ire of one anonymous 911 caller. Bolingbrook police responded to the home at 7:30 p.m. to ask that the music be stopped, according to the Bolingbrook Reporter. No tickets were issued.
