I am a self-proclaimed Momarazzi to our area youth athletes, photographing youth sports for over eight years and sharing those photographs with parents and the media for over five.  My status as a momarazzi came about when a professional photographer at a hockey tournament approached me and called me a momarazzi, "you moms and your new expensive cameras and lenses, you still can't get the photos I can."  I took that as a challenge and have been advancing my experience and knowledge ever since.

Personally, I am a wife and mom to two teenage boys, always tryng to balance my personal and professional worlds.  I have a passion for writing and photography--never claiming to be a professional at either--but a passion I need to fuel regularly.

Professionally, I am a full time professor at Robert Morris University, teaching courses in the MORRIS Graduate School of Business and RMU's School of Business Administration. My course load focuses on business law, ethcs and risk management, and paralegal studies...all due to my background in law.  I graduated from the John Marshall Law School and soon learned my passion was not in the courtroom, but in the classroom.

I credit my love for teaching to two professors I had during my undergraduate education at Loyola University of Chicago, Professor Edmund J. Rooney and Father William Hogan.  Both taught with a passion that surpassed anything I've ever experienced before, teaching the subject matter, along with the art of storytelling. After graduating with a degree in Organizational Communication at Loyola, I started law school.  During my second year in law school I began teaching business law courses part-time at RMU.  After graduating law school my work load at my new law firm would not allow me to teach, focusing my hours on client needs first.  After six months I quietly began teaching one night class again; after two years I made the decision to teach full-time.  I've held several administrative positions at the University during my tenure, but about five years ago I returned to the classroom where I am happiest.

My goal has always been to draw attention to youth sports that are not often covered by the area media.  High school varsity sports are often the bread and butter of any sports section on a local level, so my goal has been to share stories of success of local athletes who are not at that level yet...but have done amazing things nonetheless!

See you at the fields or rink!
