Szymon Karbowski, Neighbor

Ever since I could remember, writing has been my passion. I wrote short stories, poetry and songs throughout my teenage years until I was introduced to journalistic writing during my first year of college.  Since then, I have been a devoted journalist.

I recently graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a B.A. in Journalism. During my college years, I learned the necessary skills to be a quality reporter as well as a writer. I have written on a variety of topics, but my biggest interests are music, film and sports. During my short journalistic career, I have had my work published on Spinner and various blogs.

I am really excited about Bolingbrook Patch and what it has to offer for its local readers. I have lived in Bolingbrook for nine years and I know the city like the back of my hand.  I look forward to being that local voice in the community.
