I have lived in Bolingbrook for about 35 years. I was delighted to find the DuPage River Greenway and Hidden Lakes because the time spent in a natural environment is healing and fascinating to me.

I am a poet and writer.  My book, Szechwan Shrimp and Fortune Cookies: Poems from a Chinese Restaurant, was published by Rockford Writers’ Guild Press. Judson Press in Pennsylvania published my nonfiction book, Stop the Violence: Educating Ourselves to Protect Our Youth. In addition to these books, I have published many poems and articles, as well as Wilda Morris’s Poetry Challenge (wildamorris.blogspot.com), which provides a monthly contest for other poets. This summer, I will be leading a poetry workshop, “The Nature of Poetry and the Poetry of Nature,” at the Christian Writers’ Conference, at the Green Lake Conference Center in Wisconsin. I am available to lead poetry (and creative writing) workshops elsewhere.
