Park District's Executive Director Dies

Susan Hoster-Suggs, the Bolingbrook Park District's executive director, died Sunday morning, park district officials said.

Hoster-Suggs had been battling cancer and died at Naperville's Edward Hospital. 

"The Bolingbrook Park District lost a great friend an an incredible leader," said Kimberly Smith, the park district's superintendent of marketing and customer care. "The void she leaves will impact many, just as she did during her life."

Service and visitation hours are expected to be announced by the family once details are finalized.

Hoster-Suggs was 44.
