Grand opening of Bolingbrook Hardee’s

Chicago-area residents will soon have the opportunity to enjoy delicious Thickburgers and famous Made From Scratch Biscuits – the Hardee’s franchise is coming to the Windy City!

This Thursday, August 1, marks the grand opening of the first of many planned Chicagoland restaurants at 200 N. Bolingbrook Drive, in Bolingbrook, Ill. Starting at 5 a.m., the first 1,000 customers will have the opportunity to win free Hardee’s for a year. Other fun activities for guests, including entertainment by a local mariachi band, are scheduled throughout opening week.

To showcase its commitment to the community, as well as its ongoing support of children’s and military organizations, Hardee’s franchisee Frontier Star will also will present both Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital and the Bolingbrook VFW Post No. 5917 with checks for $1,000.

Burger chain to celebrate opening of its first Chicago area location, in Bolingbrook, Ill.; first 1,000 customers who purchase a breakfast combo get coupons for free food each week for one year

ST. LOUIS – July 29, 2013 – Hardee’s® is coming to the Windy City and bringing with it a robust menu of premium, sit-down-restaurant-quality menu items.

On Thursday, August 1, in Bolingbrook, Ill., Hardee’s franchisee Frontier Star will open the first of its many planned Chicago-area Hardee’s locations. A second Hardee’s, in the southern suburb of Midlothian, Ill., will open in late August, and several additional locations are being explored.

The new Bolingbrook Hardee’s, at 200 N. Bolingbrook Drive, will officially open its doors on Thursday, August 1, at 5:00 a.m. and each of the first 1,000 customers who purchase a breakfast combo that morning will receive a coupon book redeemable for one free Hardee’s menu item each week for one year. Throughout opening week, guests who come in-store will be entertained by a local mariachi band, as well as the brand’s Happy Star® mascot.

Frontier Star will hold a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, August 8, at 12:30 p.m., including an appearance by Mayor Roger Claar and members of the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce. As part of the celebration, Frontier Star will present two local organizations with checks for $1,000. To showcase its commitment to the community, as well as its ongoing support of children’s and military organizations, the Hardee’s franchisee will donate to both Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital and the Bolingbrook VFW Post No. 5917.

Frontier Star currently owns and operates 60 Hardee’s locations across the Midwest. In addition to Frontier Star’s Bolingbrook location and one set to open in Midlothian, multiple additional Chicagoland Hardee’s restaurants are planned to open throughout 2013 and 2014. Each new Hardee’s will employ approximately 60 employees with positions ranging from full-time management opportunities to part-time crew members.
