Just Desserts Bakery Opens in Bolingbrook
Bolingbrook residents opened the new bakery Nov. 9.
Bolingbrook just got a little sweeter.
Just Desserts, a new bakery, opened Nov. 9 at 284 S. Weber Rd. Unit H.
Owner Christine Berrong said in a previous Patch Business Spotlight that she's been baking all her life.
"We specialize in individual and small sharing desserts," she said. "Cupcakes, apple slices, min cheese cakes, brittles, gourmet caramel apples, Gourmet chocolate covered strawberries. Any dessert you can think of we can make it!"
Berrong and her daughter, Antoinette King, are Bolingbrook residents. King said her mother got her inspiration from her mother (King's grandmother), who died two years ago.
"We opened on her birthday so it was a double special day," King said.
