Park officials said they're seeking an executive director “with a proven track record in management and operation of a market-driven recreation service portfolio.”

The Bolingbrook Park District employs 63 full-time employees and more than 538 part-time and seasonal employees.

Officials plan to whittle down the list of applicants to five or six that will be interviewed.

Traczek said he would like to see the position filled within a month to six weeks.
